PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: May 2, 2025
1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Accretive Edge, LLC (“Accretive Edge”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information through its website (the “Website”). By using or accessing the Website in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Policy. Any capitalized terms that are not defined in this Policy are defined in our Terms of Service.
2. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND HOW WE USE IT
As explained further in this section, you will have the opportunity to provide us with certain personal information. In addition, we may collect certain personal information automatically through your use of the Website. We will use this information to provide you with the functionality of our Website, to improve our Website, and to provide you with information about Accretive Edge. The rest of this section provides a more detailed explanation of the personal information we collect and how we use that personal information.
2.1 Voluntarily Disclosed Information
2.1.1 Contact Us Form
If you use the “Contact Us” form on the Website, you will be asked to provide your name, email address, and whatever other information you think may be relevant. We will use that information to respond to your inquiry.
2.1.2 Meeting Scheduler
You are able to schedule a meeting with Accretive Edge through the Website. When scheduling a meeting, you will be asked to provide your name, email address, and whatever other information you think may be relevant for the meeting.
2.1.2 Comments
You may have the option to comment on content and text on the Website. To the extent you include personal information in your comment, that information will be viewable by other visitors to the Website.
2.1.4 Accretive Edge Communications
We may communicate with you if you’ve provided us the means to do so. For example, if you’ve given us your email address (including through one of the means listed above), we may send you communications about the services that Accretive Edge provides.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
2.2.1 Browser & Device Information
Whenever you interact with the Website, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device, which may include your IP address, geolocation data, device identification, “cookie” and pixel tag information, the type of device you’re using to access the Website, the amount of time spent on the Website, and the page or feature you requested. “Cookies” are identifiers we or our service providers transfer to your browser or device that allow us to recognize your browser or device and tell us how and when pages and features in the Website are visited and by how many people. “Pixel tags” are tiny graphic images with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, that are used to track online movements of web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a computer hard drive, pixel tags are embedded invisibly in web pages. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or device to prevent or limit your device’s acceptance of cookies and pixel tags, but this may prevent you from taking advantage of some of the features on our Website. We use the data we automatically collect from you to better understand how visitors interact with the Website – for example, this data can tell us how often users use a particular feature of the Website, and we can use that knowledge to make the Website interesting to as many visitors as possible.
3. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We may disclose your personal information to the categories of third parties identified in this section.
3.1 Personnel and Third Party Service Providers
We employ personnel and engage other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your personal information with them to provide products or services to you. For example, our Website is built on the WordPress platform, so WordPress will have access to certain information collected through our Website in order to provide its services to us. As another example, we use providers like HubSpot to manage the information submitted by visitors to our Website, and to track activity on our Website.
3.2 Other Website Visitors
Please note that if you submit any personal information within a comment that you post to the Website, other Website visitors will be able to see that personal information.
3.3 Analytics Services
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors engage with our Website. You can learn more about the information that Google has access to at the following website: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
3.4 Business Transfers
If we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, personal information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.
3.5 Legal Compliance
We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we believe is necessary to comply with governmental requests, law enforcement or court orders, or enforce or apply our Terms of Service and other agreements.
4. SECURITY
We use commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. In addition, we enter into contracts with all of our third party service providers that require reasonable precautions be taken against unauthorized uses of your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant that these precautions will always be successful.
5. MODIFICATION, DELETION & RETENTION OF INFORMATION
If you would like us to modify or delete any of the personal information we collected about you through the Website, please email us at legal@accretiveedge.com. Please understand, however, that it may be impossible to delete this information completely, due to backups and records of deletions. In addition, we may deny a deletion request if the denial is necessary for us to comply with applicable law. You may not request the removal of de-identified, anonymous, or aggregate data from our databases.
6. HOW WE RESPOND TO DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
We will honor your exercise of your rights with respect to your personal information in accordance with Section 5. Apart from those rights, we do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
7. AGE OF USERS
Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use or access the Website in any way. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
8. CHANGES TO POLICY
We’re constantly trying to improve the Website, so we may need to change this Policy from time to time as well. The date of the last modification will be posted at the beginning of this Policy. It is your responsibility to check from time to time for updates. By continuing to access or use the Website, you are indicating that you agree to be bound by the modified Policy.
